The principle of reverse campaigns

Q
Written by QR Queen

A reverse campaign is used to capture unknown prospects in the field: instead of one QR per known contact, it uses a shared QR that opens a public entry form. The prospect fills in their own details, which then surface in Pipedrive.

Good to know

  • Unlike a standard campaign (one unique QR per imported contact, printed and sent), a reverse campaign pre-creates empty contacts, each with its own unique QR. The first scan of an empty QR opens the form; once filled, that QR then redirects normally to the destination URL.

  • The campaign type is stored in the "type" field (value "reverse"). The dashboard groups these campaigns under "Reverse campaigns."

  • Deals coming from reverse are created in a dedicated deal stage (reverse deal stage), configured in the Integrations tab.
